Eating her emotions

Elena, now almost 5 months old, has embarked on the journey of solid foods! Her first encounter was with baby food oatmeal, which one can only imagine was a strange experience for her. She went through the normal baby reaction of opening her mouth and then spitting it back out with her tongue. We're not entirely sure she swallowed anything, but at least she is getting used to the idea. She gave us this look like we were crazy or at least confused because up until this point she knows that food comes from mommy, not a spoon.

She's growing up so fast!
